Mediums: Acrylics, Colored Pencil, Clay, Fabric, Jewelry, Watercolor I am primarily a self-taught artist with the exception of a few college art classes here and there. I am always open to learning a new art or craft form. My style is different with each medium I work with and I prefer using bright vivid colors in my artwork. Artwork ranges from works on canvas or paper to full wall murals, pottery, sculpture, clothing and accessories, photographs, computer manipulation, watercolors, colored pencil and graphite, conte crayon, pastels, acrylics, jewelry, crochet and others.
I have been the president of the Tri-State Art Guild for 3 years and was instrumental in the founding the group. I currently work with at-risk students at the Clements Job Corps Center in the arts and crafts program. My work has been exhibited in galleries, museums and private collections and several works have won awards of excellence. My work is often for sale, and I accept commissions as well.
