Quite easily, one can label art as contemporary. A process of seeking understanding about the visual circumstances of an artwork immediately begins with a query of one’s prior knowledge and experience with art.
I endeavor to create and see art through my window of knowledge and experience. Resultantly, it is my contention that the means, through which an idea can be expressed, does not necessarily require traditional media or presentation. Our view of the world is most enhanced by the way value-content is determined, in the way all the parts have been purposefully aligned or observed.
Esotericism or individualism may be a more apt descriptor for the artwork that I create. I encourage the viewer to consider the moments that are captured in the arrangement of my artworks. Critically think about what is happening through the use of materials. Determine the reasoning for the composition or compose a hypothesis that is unique to your own perspective.
